Steven Michael Bixenspan, age 70, of Clearwater, Florida, passed away on July 5, 2022, in Clearwater.
Steve, known to many as “Bix,” was born in the Bronx, New York, to Beatrice and Eugene Bixenspan on April 20, 1952. He attended the Bronx High School of Science and graduated from Lehman College in the Bronx with a BA in political science. Steve was a talented stand-up comic who brought much joy and laughter to many people. Additionally, for many years he owned and ran Comedy Blast, Inc., a talent agency that provided fund-raising comedy shows for many nonprofit organizations throughout the eastern seaboard.
Steve is survived by his sister, Randee, his brother-in-law, Bill, and his niece and nephew, Melissa and Brian.

I am shocked to read of your passing. We shared many times together growing up in the Bronx. We both went to Bronx Science, and then on to Lehman College. We traveled many times to Brooklyn, to see our mutual friends in Bensonhurst. A kind soul with a great sense of humor. RIP my friend.
